Homes across the city, from one studio
We take on full-home commissions across Indore — the independent bungalows and villas of the established colonies, the high-floor apartments and penthouses of the newer towers along the AB Road and Ring Road corridors, and farmhouses on the city's outskirts. Site visits within the city are part of every project; the studio is on site at the stages that matter.

What we design
Complete homes, designed once
Blaine Robert Design is a luxury interior design studio, and the Indore studio takes on the whole home rather than a room at a time. Interior architecture, bespoke joinery, furniture, lighting, art and styling are drawn together for one family and built as one project — the studio designs, sources and constructs, and hands over finished rooms rather than a set of drawings and a list of suppliers.
The homes are Indore's own: garden bungalows in the older colonies, penthouses and full-floor apartments in the new towers, and farmhouses where the city thins out. Each is designed around the way that family actually lives — how they entertain, where the light falls at four in the afternoon, which rooms carry the day and which are kept for the evening.

Design
Interior architecture, bespoke joinery, rare materials, furniture and lighting — every element drawn for this home and no other. You approve the drawings and the material palette before anything is fabricated.
Realisation
From ateliers to installation, the studio directs the craft on site in Indore until the finished rooms match the drawings you fell in love with — then styles them, and stays on for aftercare.

Three decades of craft, now working from Indore
Founder-led. Blaine Robert trained at the University of Calgary, spent twelve years practising in Tokyo, and founded Blaine Robert Design in Kuala Lumpur in 2014. He directs every commission personally, including those in India; the Indore studio is where that work is designed.
Recognised. The studio behind the Indore practice has been recognised by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, the ATAP Design Awards and the Qanvast Design Awards, and its villa and residence commissions extend across Malaysia, Dubai, Doha and Saudi Arabia.

Where is the Blaine Robert Design studio in Indore, and can I visit?
Our studio is at 138, PU-4, behind C21 Mall in Scheme 54, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452010, open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 18:30 IST. Visits are by appointment so that a designer is there to walk you through material samples and past work. What does an interior designer in Indore charge, and how does Blaine Robert Design price a project?
Every commission is bespoke, so the fee follows the scope: the size of the home, how much of it is being designed, the level of interior architecture and joinery involved, and whether the studio is also building and furnishing it. We set this out in writing after the first consultation, before any design work begins, so there are no numbers to guess at. Our clients are creating complete homes rather than decorating single rooms.
Do you design villas, penthouses and farmhouses in and around Indore?
Yes. Full-home commissions are what the studio does: independent villas and bungalows, high-floor penthouses and apartments in Indore's newer towers, and weekend farmhouses on the city's outskirts. How long does a full-home interior design and build take?
It depends on the size of the home and how much is custom-made, and we give you a programme in writing at the start rather than a figure from memory. As a shape: design and approvals come first, then fabrication in the ateliers runs alongside site works, and installation and styling close the project. Progress is reported to you throughout, and the studio stays on until the finished rooms match the drawings you approved.

Our India work to date is in Gurugram (Gurgaon), including residences at DLF The Dahlias and The Camellias, designed from the Indore studio. Blaine Robert Design was founded in Kuala Lumpur in 2014, and the studio's villa and residence commissions across Malaysia, Dubai, Doha and Saudi Arabia are on the portfolio as design proof, each labelled by city.
