A frond villa designed around the water

Every villa on the Palm is sold on its view; few are designed to deserve it. This commission was planned from the waterline inward — a sequence of living, dining and outdoor entertaining spaces stacked to keep the Gulf visible from nearly every principal room, with the formal circulation kept deliberately out of the way of the view.

The material language stays cool and coastal — honed stone, pale timber, brushed metal — so the interior recedes and the water reads as the real decoration. Upstairs, the primary suite was treated as its own private wing, with a dressing room and bathroom finished to hotel-suite standard and a terrace positioned for sunset rather than symmetry.
